NP-9615 SERIES DC REGULATED POWER SUPPLY
INTRODUCTION
The NP-9615 series DC regulated power supply is a compact, well regulated laboratory style unit. It is suitable for
service work, hobby and educational use as well as laboratory use in many fields of science and engineering. It
provides one variable output and two fixed outputs for a wide variety of applications.
Please read these instructions carefully and follow them to prevent abuse or misuse of the power supply. These
instructions must be kept for future reference.
FEATURES
1. Overload and short-circuit protection: when the unit detects an overload or a short-circuit condition the
output current is limited to that set.
2. Independent 5V and 12V outputs with easy snap-on output terminals. These voltage outputs are ideal for
TTL or CMOS circuit testing. As the outputs are not grounded, they can provide negative voltages or can be
wired in series for a higher output voltage (17V).
PANEL DESCRIPTION
1. On/Off Switch
3. Voltmeter
5. Current Limited Indicator
7. Screw-On Output Terminals
9. Current Adjustment Knob
11. Power Cord
INSTALLATION
1. Ensure that the AC supply power is ±5% of the rated input voltage. Also ensure that the unit is properly
grounded through the AC mains plug.
2. DO NOT place the unit in dusty or highly humid locations. DO NOT place the unit in direct sun-light or
locations subjected to high temperatures.
3. Place the unit in a location which provides unobstructed air circulation.
4. The unit is for Indoor Use Only.
