    A change in sleeping position can often stop a person snoring. If your body mass index (B.M.I.) is greater than 25 you are overweight. This can be a major factor in snoring and Lloydspharmacy recommends that you need to lose weight and adopt a healthy exercise routine, not only to help stop snoring but also to prevent other diseases caused by obesity.

Sticking On the Gel Pads a. Use the moist alcohol wipe to clean the two black rubber pads on the back of the device (as shown in picture I)
  • Page 7 Instructions for Use b. Remove the self-adhesive gel pads from the pack. Peel off the side of plastic film that has print on it (as shown in picture II, III) c. Stick the gel pads onto the black rubber pads on the back of the StopSnoring Advance (as shown in picture IV).
  • Page 8 Instructions for Use 2. Adjusting the Wrist-Band a. After attaching the gel pads, place the StopSnoring Advance one inch below the wrist like a watch. Use the wrist strap to tighten/loosen it and then secure into position using the fastener. b.

    Instructions for Use The device’s unique design can automatically detect snores above 65 dB when there are no other loud background noises. Background noises should be below 55dB when using the StopSnoring Advance. 5. After Use To prevent damage of the self-adhesive gel pads: Unhook the wrist strap and gently remove the device from your wrist.

    Battery Information The unit requires 1 x AAA battery (not included). Inserting the Battery To insert the battery, open the battery compartment, observing correct polarity. Insert the battery, then replace the cover of the battery compartment. It is recommended that you use high quality batteries for optimum performance.

    Maintenance and Cautions Maintenance 1. The self-adhesive gel pads should be kept clean. In order to maintain the device’s performance, DO NOT rub the gel pads with your hands, a wipe, or cotton wool. 2. The gel pads tend to lose their adhesion over time, therefore weakening the intensity level. Moisten finger with a few drops of water and rub it gently against the gel pads to improve contact.

    Maintenance and Cautions Cautions 1. The intensity level should be adjusted to ZERO before use. 2. DO NOT wear the device if the self-adhesive gel pads are not attached correctly. Also, when you are pressing the test button, DO NOT touch the black rubber pads or gel pads with your fingers.
