Prism Sound ADA-8XR Multi-channel A/D D/A Converter
Operation Manual - Revision 1.00
As can be seen from the plot, the largest spurious component is at –151.65dBFS, which
represents a huge improvement over competitive asynchronous rate converters, whose
imprecise conversions produce large and obtrusive aharmonic distortion components which
have given sample rate converters their characteristic 'sound' in the past.
The Prism Sound SSRC is included with the DSD I/O Module, and allows simultaneous rate-
conversion of all eight channels between any two PCM sample rates from 32, 44.1, 48, 88.2,
96, 176.4 and 192kHz.
