- Page 23 ocessing It will be rare that firmware updates are needed. The recommended practice for this is to write, with pencil, the date of purchase on the bottom of the unit. Should you want to inquire about possible updates you can contact MCM Electronics technical support. If updates are available, the needed file can be emailed.
