7 PTY Search Setting Function
1. Enter the PTY Search setting mode.

Hold for 2 seconds
The "PTY" indicator lights and the name of a program type appears on the
display for 5 seconds.
Note:
• CURRENT sets desired PTY to the program type of the current station (only for
RDS stations broadcasting PTY information).
2. Select one of the PTYs:

3. When the desired programming type appears on the display,
return to the normal display.

Note:
• You can also select the PTY Search Setting mode (PTY SEL) in the Function
Menu, and switch the PTY Search Function ON/OFF.
