Attach Front Wheel Carefully remove all items from the packaging and ensure that you have all parts. If you do not have all pieces please call our customer service number to order replacement parts. 1. Use the wrench provided to remove the axle nut, lock washer and washer from one end of the wheel axle.

Install Handlebar Assembly 1. Connect the wiring connector from the handlebar assembly to the connector in the scooter body. 2. Lower the handlebar assembly onto the post of the scooter body. Push down until you hear a “click”. Pull up to make sure the handlebar is firmly attached.

WARNING! • PREVENT FIRE AND ELECTRIC SHOCK: - Use only the Kid Trax Toys 6-volt rechargeable battery and charger supplied with your vehicle. NEVER substitute the battery or the charger with another brand. Using another 6-volt battery or charger may cause a fire or explosion.
Page 8 Charge 6-Volt Battery Prior to First Use, Continued ONLY AN ADULT CAN CHARGE AND RECHARGE THE BATTERY. See pages 14-15 for battery maintenance and battery replacement. NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the battery from the vehicle for charging. However, if the adapter cord will not safely reach a 120-volt wall outlet, the battery can be removed for charging.

Give water, milk of magnesia or egg whites. Do not induce vomiting. • The Kid Trax Toys 6-volt battery features a thermal fuse with a reset fuse on the circuit board that will automatically trip and cut all power to the Sidekick Scooter if the motor, electric system or battery is overloaded.

Replacing the Battery The Kid Trax Toys 6-volt battery will eventually lose the ability to hold a charge. Depending on the amount of use, and varying conditions, the battery should operate for one to three years. If the battery will not recharge, you must obtain a new Kid Trax Toys 6-volt battery.

POSSIBLE CAUSE: Thermal fuse has tripped. The Kid Trax Toys 6-volt battery features a thermal fuse with a reset fuse on the circuit board that will automatically trip and cut all power to the Sidekick Scooter if the motor, electric system or the battery is overloaded.
