CARE AND CLEANING

IMPORTANT NOTE: BEFORE DISASSEMBLING ANY PARTS OF THE JUICER ENSURE THAT THE SPEED
CONTROL DIAL IS IN THE OFF POSITION, THE PLUG HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE WALL OUTLET
AND THE MOTOR HAS COME TO A COMPLETE STOP
Disassembling
1. See the IMPORTANT NOTE above.
2. Remove the Food Pusher from the Feed Tube
3. Disengage the Locking Arm.
Cleaning
1. Disassemble the Juicer, as per the instructions above.
2. Wipe the Base with a damp cloth. If necessary you can use a little mild detergent. NEVER IMMERSE
THE BASE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
3. All removable parts can be washed in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
4. To clean the Strainer Basket/Cutting Blades:
Carefully hold the Strainer Basket/Cutting Blades and use a small nylon brush, dipped in warm soapy
water, to gently clean away pulp from the mesh filter and cutting blades. Rinse under running water. Hold
the Strainer Basket/Cutting Blades up to the light to ensure that the fine mesh holes are not blocked. If the
holes are blocked, soak the Strainer Basket/Cutting Blades in hot water to loosen the pulp and clean with
the brush again. Allow to dry on a cloth or paper towel.
NOTE: Be careful when handling, the cutting blades are very sharp.

RECIPES
Below are a few juice recipes for
your convenience. Additional
recipes are available on the
internet. Recipe books are also
available at your local bookstore.
Vegetable Juice
4 carrots , 2 ozs. (100 g) spinach
Small handful of flat leaf parsley
2 stalks celery
Alternate juicing above ingredients.
Serve immediately.
A short supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards of becoming entangled in or tripping over a long cord. Extension
cords may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the detach-
able power-supply cord or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance. If the appli-
ance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a grounded 3-wire cord. The extension cord should be arranged
so that it will not drape over the counter top or table top, where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
4. Remove the Juicer Cover/Pulp Chute and Pulp Container.
5. Gently pull the Juice Collector and Strainer Basket
upward
