    HOW IT WORKS The skin tissue is composed of the outer layer called epidermis, and below that is the dermis and hypodermis that contain fat. The protective membrane in the epidermis layer can isolate skin from harmful environmental toxins and substances. At the same time, the protective membrane hinders skin from absorbing nutritious ingredients.
