  • Page 6 Mid Equalization - This section has a peaking characteristic with six frequency selections: 360Hz, 700Hz, 1.6k, 3.2k, 4.8k, and 7.2k. The gain control provides 20dB of boost or cut. High Equalization- This section has a shelving characteristic with five frequency selections: 16k, 12k, 7k, 4.9k and 3.4k. This section adjusts the selected frequency and all others above it.
  • Page 7 Connecting the Preamplifier / Equalizer Audio Connection Microphone input connections are made with the female XLR connector on the rear of the unit. This connector is wired with pin 2 HOT, pin 3 common and pin 1 is ground (shield). The 48VDC power is supplied on pins 2 and 3.
  • Page 8 The unit is supplied with a country - correct AC adapter. All DC conversion, regulation and filtering is done within the 7602 MKII. The output of the AC adapter is 24VAC and connects to the rear of the unit. Optionally, you may use the CPS-1 Power Supply to power this unit.

  • Page 10 First time users Set up of the Model 7602 MKII 1- Select 40 dB on the Microphone / Line sensitivity control. Turn the Output control fully counter clockwise. Make certain that the DI, 48V, EQ and Phase switches are all off.
