Settings
• P alm motion:
– Capture screen: Set the device to capture an image of the screen when you sweep
your hand to the left or right across the screen.
– Mute/Pause: Set the device to pause media playback or mute the FM radio when you
touch the screen with your palm.
• G yroscope calibration: Calibrate the gyroscope so your device can correctly recognise
rotation.
• P lace the device on a stable surface during calibration. The calibration process may
fail if the device vibrates or moves.
• C alibrate the gyroscope when you experience drifting or unintended movements
when using tilting or panning motions or motion-enabled games.
Smart screen
Smart stay: Set the device to prevent the display backlight from turning off while you are
looking at the display.
Air view
Preview content or view information in a pop-up window by pointing at an item with your
finger.
• I nformation preview: View information in a pop-up window by pointing at items with
your finger.
• P rogress preview: While playing music or videos, preview a scene or view the elapsed
time by pointing at the progress bar with your finger.
• S peed dial preview: View contact information of speed dial numbers in a pop-up
window by pointing at a speed dial number with your finger.
• W ebpage magnifier: While browsing the Internet, magnify the content by pointing at
the screen.
• S ound and haptic feedback: Set the device to sound and vibrate when pointing at items
with your finger.
