• Always follow the age recommendation. • Never allow a child under 16 years of age to operate an ATV over 90 cc. • Never allow a child under 16 years of age to operate an ATV without adult supervision and never allow continued use of an ATV by a child who does not have the ability to operate it safely.
Safety Information • Never use your TrailRover™ on hills that are too steep for the ATV or your abilities. Practice on smaller hills before operating on steeper hills. • Do not modify your TrailRover™ through improper installation or use of accessories.

Allow greater distance for braking. • Inspect your TrailRover™ prior to each use to make sure it is in safe operating condition. Always follow the inspection and maintenance procedures and schedules described in the manual.

Once the engine is running, movement of the throttle lever will increase the engine speed. Regulate the speed of the ATV by varying the throttle position. Because the throttle is spring-loaded, your TrailRover™ will decelerate, and the engine will return to an idle any time the hand is removed from the throttle lever.

The brake lever is located at the right handlebar grip. To apply the front brake, pull the brake lever toward the handlebar grip Brake Pedal The brake pedal is located on the right side of your TrailRover™. To apply the rear brake, apply gentle, increasing pressure on the brake pedal.

Shift Pedal Your TrailRover™ is equipped with a constant- mesh 5- speed transmission. The shift pedal is located on the left side of the engine and is used in combination with the clutch when shifting.

Charging and Installing the Battery The battery for your new TrailRover™ is installed at the factory prior to delivery. To prolong battery life, after charging, install the battery into the battery case making sure it is held firmly in place with the tightening belt.

Remove the gasoline cap by turning it counter-clockwise. When the correct fuel level has been reached, replace the cap and turn clock wise to lock the cap in place. Your TrailRover™ is designed to operate most efficiently with SAE 15W/40. Use only high quality four-stroke premium engine oil. Adding Engine Oil Warm engine for about 5 minutes.

Get training if you are inexperienced. Beginners should get training from a certified instructor. Become familiar with your TrailRover™ at slow speeds first, even if you are an experienced operator. Do not attempt to operate at maximum speeds until your are completely familiar with the handling and performance characteristics.

Use by children of your TrailRover™ that are not recommended for their age can result in severe injury or death. How to Avoid the Hazard A child under 16 should never operate your TrailRover™ or any ATV with an engine size over 90 cc.

Keep the engine area free of dry grass, brush or other combustible material. Do not touch the hot exhaust system. Do not part your TrailRover™ in a place where others are likely to touch it when it’s hot. Be Careful where you ride Your TrailRover™...

Check fuel line for leaks. Correct if necessary. Engine Oil Check oil level in engine and add oil if necessary. Check TrailRover™ for leaks. Correct if necessary. Front Brake Check operation and make corrections is necessary. Lubricate brake cable if necessary.

The engine will start. *If you are attempting to start your TrailRover™ while the engine is warm, do not adjust the choke lever; leave it in the “ON” position.

Shift into first gear. Open the throttle gradually and at the same time release the clutch lever slowly. Once your TrailRover™ has reached adequate speed, release the throttle and at the same time, quickly pull in the clutch lever. Shift the transmission into second gear.

When ready to stop your TrailRover™, first gently release pressure from the throttle until the throttle is released. Then gently apply pressure to the brake lever until your TrailRover™ comes to a complete stop. Put the engine cut off switch into the “OFF” position. Shift into neutral.

Parking Brake When parking your TrailRover™ on a slope, the parking brake should be used. To engage the parking brake, bring your TrailRover™ to a complete stop by applying the brakes in first gear. Stop the engine and release the clutch lever. With the rear brake applied, apply the parking brake and release the brake pedal.

Maintenance Inspection and Maintenance It is very important that you inspect and maintain your TrailRover™ on a regular basis to ensure optimal performance and longevity. If you have the proper tools and experience, you can perform the maintenance yourself in accordance with the instructions provided in this manual.

Replace brake hoses every two years and at any time they are cracked or damaged. Toolkit Included with your TrailRover™ is a basic toolkit that includes a wrench, a box wrench and an air pressure gauge for inspection and maintenance. Tires Check the surfaces of the tires and the air pressure.

Keep children away from oil. Caution After your new TrailRover™ has been used for 20 hours, change the oil in the gearbox. Clean the gearbox with kerosene and add new oil. Check the oil level frequently, making sure that proper levels are maintained.

Do not apply de-greaser to the wheel axles. Rinse dirt and de-greaser from your TrailRover™ with a garden hose. Do not use more water pressure than is necessary. Do not use a pressure washer.

Maintenance Storage Short Term Storage Always store your TrailRover™ in a cool, dry place and cover is with a porous cover to protect it from accumulating dust and dirt. Long-Term Storage Make any necessary repairs before storing your TrailRover™. Before storing your TrailRover™ for several months, clean it thoroughly.

Throughout this document, TrailRover™ shall be referred to as the “MANUFACTURER”. Each ATV warranty is given to the original consumer only and terminates upon any transfer of ownership. Commercial applications are excluded from all warranties.
TrailRover™. When a warrantable condition exists, your TrailRover™ will be repaired at no cost to you. If an emission related part needs on your TrailRover™ is defective, the part will be repaired or replaced, not the entire vehicle.
