I have a vacuum, and the powerhead is an Edge. I push forward to vacuum my rug and the power head roller turns fine. I [pull back and the powerhead stops running until I turn it or push forward again.

The Edge Electric Powerhead may stop running when pulling back while vacuuming due to the circuit breaker activating. This could be caused by an overload, such as too much resistance or debris in the brush roll. A cool-down period of 0–180 seconds may be required for the circuit breaker to automatically reset.

2. Press the easy release pedal (located on the left side) with your foot.
3. Pull the wand straight up to remove it from the powerhead.
