CONNECTING THE HARDWARE The Front Panel of the IM400 Matrix Switcher provides for manual control of the unit. Audio Follow Video and Audio Breakaway switching can be accomplished from the front panel using standard Preset/Take techniques. An LCD display shows system status and allows for adjustment of signal trim, signal delay and other parameters via adjustment buttons.
OPERATING THE UNIT System Control: The matrix switcher can be controlled in three ways: directly from the front panel, serial commands via the built in RS-232 port or though the optional web server card. The front panel is the most direct method and should be used for initial setup. The RS-232 port may be connected to a control system like AMX or Crestron or may be connected to a PC running the RS-232 Windows based control program available for download from our support web site http://tvone.crmdesk.com.
