2. Right-click "Unallocated" and select New Simple Volume. If a New Simple
Volume option is not available, initialize the disk first. To initialize a disk, please
check "Initialize a Disk" at page.18 for guidance.
Note: In Win XP, you will probably find New Partition instead of New Simple
Volume. It's basically the same idea, those two terms are often used interchangeably.
3. Click Next to start the New Simple Volume Wizard.
