This section explains Settings for customizing your device.

Accessing Settings

From a Home screen, touch Menu

Wireless and network

Control your device's wireless connections.
Airplane mode
When Airplane mode is activated, your device's wireless
connections are disabled, and you cannot connect to networks.
In Airplane mode, you can use other features of your device, such
as playing music, watching videos, and other applications.
From a Home screen, touch Menu

Touch Airplane Mode to turn Airplane Mode On or Off. When
enabled, a check appears in the checkbox.
Tip: To quickly activate Airplane mode from any screen, press and hold the
Power/Lock Key
options pop-up.

Wi-Fi settings
Your device supports Wi-Fi b/g/n. Use Wi-Fi settings to manage
your device's Wi-Fi connections.
For more information about using your device's Wi-Fi features,
see "Wi-Fi" on page 65.
Turning Wi-Fi On or Off
Turn your device's Wi-Fi service on or off. When you turn Wi-Fi
service on, your device automatically searches for available, in-
range Wireless Access Points (WAPs).
From a Home screen, touch Menu
