8.2.2 Set Directional Keys
To access and use these shortcuts,
press the corresponding Directional
Key direction while in Idle mode.
To configure the Directional Key
shortcuts, follow the instructions
below:
1. Open the flip and press the
MENU
Key [ ] .
Settings & Tools .
2. Press
Phone Settings .
3. Press
Set Shortcuts .
4. Press
Set Directional Keys .
5. Press
6. Select Up Directional Key , Left
Directional Key , or Down
Directional Key , then press the
Key [SET] .
7. Set the menu you want to be
accessed by the selected
Directional Key and press the
Key.
8.2.3 Set QwertyShortcut
This Shortcut allows you to initiate
either a Contact Search, New TXT
Message or New Note by simply
pressing any key on the internal
Qwerty keypad.
To configure the desired Qwerty
shortcut function, follow the
instructions below:
1. Open the flip and press the

2. Press

3. Press
Set Shortcuts .
4. Press

5. Press
6. Use the Directional Key
scroll to a setting, then press the
