    It has the ability to make real time full frame rate Motion JPEG video available on the network. The AXIS 231D/232D is equipped with a connection module with a 4 alarm inputs and 4 alarm outputs, which can be connected to external devices, e.g. door sensors and alarm bells.

    AXIS 231D/232D - Configuring the Network Dome Camera Overlay Settings Include an image, e.g. your company logo and date and time with your own text which is placed on one line at the top or bottom of the video image.

Problems may occur if the image contains no white color at all, or if the dominant color is not white. In these circumstances, the white balance may incorrectly be based on another visible color in the image, and colors may become dis- torted.

    Limits Define the pan, tilt, zoom and focus limits for the AXIS 231D/232D. Movements to the left and right, up and down can be restricted to narrow the area under surveillance. The near focus limit can be set to avoid focusing on objects too close to the camera.

Once set up, the PTZ Control Queue buttons will appear on the Live View page offering one viewer exclusive control for a limited amount of time.

    Note: Preconfigured and customized settings will be retained for use when the new firmware is running (provid- ing that the features are available in the new firmware) although this is not guaranteed by Axis Communi- cations. 1. Save the firmware file to your computer. The latest version of the AXIS 231D/232D firmware is available free of charge from the Axis Web site at http://www.axis.com/techsup or from your local distributor.
