Brightness
In this menu, you can set the brightness levels.
From the Display settings menu, touch Brightness.

Touch and drag the Level slider to the brightness level you desire (range is 1-5).

Touch Save.

Backlight time
The backlight that illuminates the screen and the keyboard turns off when no keys are touched within a given period of
time to conserve battery power. This setting determines how long the backlight remains on at full brightness. At the
end of this time, the keyboard backlight turns off and the screen backlight dims for one minute, then turns off.
From the Display settings menu, touch Backlight time.

Touch one of the backlight times (8 seconds, 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 3 minutes, or 10 minutes).

Touch Save.

Time & Date
This menu allows you to change the current time and date displayed.
From the Home screen, press

Touch the Automatic time update drop-down list and select one of the following:

• Manual only : you need to manually set the time zone, time and date.
• Prompt first: you are prompted to accept a time change.
• Automatic : the phone automatically updates the time and date according to the current time zone using the network service.
To manually set the time zone, time and date:
Touch the Time zone field, touch a time zone and touch OK (Note: only available if Time zone updating is set to

Touch 12H (12 hour) or 24H (24 hour) in the Time format field.

Touch the Time field. Touch Hour and set the hour, Minute and set the minutes, touch AM/PM to toggle the

setting. Or you can touch Jog to use + and - to change the hour and minute settings, then touch Back. Touch
