The Remote Transmitter must be installed and transmitting. Clocks should be installed within 24 hours of installing the Remote Transmitter. After 24 hours, the Remote Transmitter will enter Quiet Mode.
Ohmmeter will show a "Short". If the unit is in good condition, it will show a high resistance. A replacement discharge tube is available from the manufacturer, or the entire lightning arrestor (AT part #H003491) can be replaced by contacting American Time.
