3. When the Logitech Software Window appears, click Controls.
4. From the Controls window, click Advanced Settings.
5. From the Advanced Settings window, uncheck RightLight and Auto.
The automatic settings are cleared, allowing you to manually adjust the image
settings.
Move the sliders to adjust the image quality to your preferred settings.

Improving Image Quality
Perform the following steps to improve image quality or avoid any type of
blurriness from your camera.
1. Adjust the lighting in the area that you are using your webcam.
2. Ensure that your computer meets the hardware specifications as listed in the
Hardware Overview section in Chapter 1 of this guide.
3. Ensure that your webcam is connected to a high-speed port, preferably a high-
speed USB 2.0 port.

Microphone and Audio Issues

If you are experiencing microphone or audio issues, verify the microphone is
working on your computer and that the microphone is selected in the LWS
application.
The following sections describe how to troubleshoot your C310 microphone.
Verifying Your Speakers Work
Perform the following steps to verify that your speakers are working:
1. Click the audio icon located in the Start bar at the bottom of the desktop.
2. If the computer audio is muted, uncheck Mute.
3. Close the Audio icon by clicking anywhere on your computer.
4. Click Start → All Programs → Accessories → Sound Recorder.
5. Click Start Recording and speak into the webcam microphone.
6. Click the Stop button.
7. Click the Play button.
8. If there is no sound at playback, verify the C310 microphone is selected.
9. From the Sound Recorder window, click Edit → Audio Properties.
10. From the Sound Recording Default device pull-down menu, ensure the Logi-
tech Mic (HD Webcam C310) microphone is listed.
