    BACKUP BATTERY INSTALLATION ® Your VTech Xtra Pro Laptop comes with a backup battery already installed. To avoid damage to the unit from leaky batteries, replace the backup battery at least once a year. TO REPLACE THE BACKUP BATTERY 1. Make sure the unit is OFF.

    By pressing again you can adjust the screens contrast the same way as above. KEYBOARD LAYOUT ® Your VTech Xtra Pro Laptop has a full typing keyboard that doubles as a music keyboard. You will also find the following function keys.

    FUNCTION KEYS: 1. Press to activate or adjust the colour of the screen backlight. Press to turn the backlight screen colour on or off. Press to select a backlight colour manually. Press and the backlight will automatically switch from one colour to another. Press again to confirm the colour you want.
