Model GXT5000 Series BATTERY INSTALLATION Your GXT5000 Series radio can be fitted with the 2200mAh Li-ion battery pack. To install the battery pack: 1. With the back of the radio facing you, insert the bottom part of the Li-ion battery pack to the bottom of the radio. -

Please note that the DUAL WATCH function is only available as a MENU selection if the OUT-OF-RANGE is turned off. EXTERNAL SPEAKER/MICROPHONE JACK Your GXT5000 Series can be used with an optional external speaker/ microphone or headset, freeing your hands for other tasks.
