- Page 3 Emjoi’s Safety Precautions Safety Precautions for your Emjoi BodyBare epilator • Keep out of the reach of children. • Do not use if the tweezers are broken or damaged. • The appliance must only be used as described in this booklet. • This appliance is for household use only. • Do not immerse the product in water or any other liquid. • If you suffer from any of the following conditions, please see your health care provider before using your BodyBare epilator – acne, moles, diabetes, during pregnancy, eczema, hemophilia, immune deficiency, psoriasis, varicose veins or wounds. • Do not use this unit where it can come into contact with the scalp, clothing and shoelaces to avoid personal injury and damage to the unit. • Use only on clean, dry skin. • This product has not been designed for use on the eyebrows. • Use only with the adaptor supplied with this appliance. • As this is a personal care product, we recommend that it is used by one person only. Note: Use of an epilator may cause reddening or irritation of the skin.

- Page 6 Using your BodyBare epilator • Before using your BodyBare epilator for the first time, we recommend that you familiarise yourself with how the appliance feels on the skin. Try the unit on the back of the hand before using it on delicate areas such as the face. • We recommend that you have a warm shower or bath before use and use a loofah or exfoliating cream to prepare the skin. • Ensure that the skin is clean and dry. Do not use over body lotions or moisturisers. • Attach the adaptor to the unit, plug in, remove the protective cover and switch on. • This epilator has a massaging finger which stimulates the skin, making the epilation process as gentle as possible. • There are two settings. Use setting I on fine hair and setting II on thicker or coarser hair. • The safety switch lock in the middle of the switch button needs to be pressed in to slide the switch to the desired setting. • The epilator head attachment and the shaver head attachment can only be attached to or detached from the main unit while the switch button is at the “0” setting. • When removing hair it is very important to hold the skin very taut to avoid pinching. • If hair is longer than 5mm, trim with scissors before use. • The appliance is not suitable for use on the eyebrows. • Hold at a 90 degree angle to the area you wish to remove hair from with the BodyBare logo facing away from you.
- Page 7 Using your BodyBare epilator continued • The appliance can be used on the legs and underarms. • The shaver head is ideal to use on sensitive areas or for quick touchups. Press the head release button and pull off the epilator head. Attach the shaver head and click into position. • It can also be used on the bikini line. Use the specially designed bikini line attachment provided. Place the bikini line attachment over the epilator head ensuring the comb is facing the front. When using the bikini line attachment on the the shaver head it will only trim the hair length, as the comb will cover the foil. • It can also be used on single hairs on the face particularly on the upper lip and chin. Use the bikini line attachment provided as described above. Hold the area taut and use a small brushing action. DO NOT use as a shaver for the whole face. • The spotlight will remain on while the appliance is in operation.

Care and Cleaning • Switch the epilator off after use. Always turn the power off and remove the plug before cleaning. • Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. • To clean the exterior, simply wipe over with a dampened cloth and wipe dry. • After each use remove the epilation cover by pressing the head release button. Then brush away any hairs using the brush supplied. Replace the epilation head before use. • Occasionally clean the tweezers by wiping with a cotton bud that has been dipped in alcohol. Remove any residue alcohol before using again. • Keep the protective cover on the appliance when not in use.
