Section 5 - WEB Configuration
If you opt to set up your Internet connection manually, you will be redirected to a Internet Connection menu that allows you to configure
your 3G configuration parameters.
Mode:
Choose Auto mode for automatic configuration of the 3G
connection. If you choose this mode, no other configuration
is required; simply click on the Save Settings button to
save the configuration and the device begins to negotiate
the 3G connection. If you opt to use the Manual setup
mode, configure the parameters remaining according to
the requirements of your 3G account.
Country:
This displays the country after the 3G setup is done.
ISP:
This displays the Internet Service Provider (ISP) after 3G
setup is done.
PIN:
If you have a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for
your 3G account, enter that number here.
User Name:
Enter the user name for your 3G Internet connection.
Password:
Enter the password for your 3G Internet connection.
Dial Number:
Enter the dial number for your 3G service provider.
Authentication
Protocol:
Choose the Authentication Protocol used.
APN:
Enter the Access Point Name (APN) for your 3G service
provider.
Reconnect Mode:
Click a radio button to choose a reconnection mode. The options are Always-on, Connect on demand, or Manual.
Maximum Idle
Enter the maximum amount of time the Internet connection should be maintained during inactivity. To disable this feature,
Time:
enable the Always-on reconnect mode.
Click the Save Settings button when you have finished configuring the 3G connection.
