Using the Xmidi 2x2
The Xmidi 2x2 has two pairs of MIDI In and
Out Ports. The first set is located on the front,
and the second on the back.

MIDI 1 In & Out Connectors
1.
Connect a MIDI device's input and/or out-
put to these 5-pin DIN connectors.

MIDI Activity LEDs
These LEDs Illuminate when activity occurs
on the corresponding inputs or outputs.
Power LED

This LED Illuminates when the Xmidi 2x2 is
receiving power via USB.

MIDI 2 In & Out Connectors
Connect a second MIDI device's input and/
or output to these 5-pin DIN connectors.

USB Connector
Plug the provided USB Cable into this
connector and your computer.

Applications
The Xmidi 2x2 works with any application that
requires/utilizes MIDI.
Windows XP
In software such as E-MU Proteus X, Steinberg
Cubase, or Cakewalk Sonar, the Xmidi 2x2 In
and Out ports will appear as:
E-MU XMidi 2X2 Midi In 1
E-MU XMidi 2X2 Midi In 2
Mac OS X
In most audio applications, the Xmidi ports
should appear as the name of whatever device
you attached to them in the Audio MIDI Setup
utility.
Uninstalling
Windows XP users should make sure the
device is unplugged from the computer before
running the uninstaller.
