PoWeR sUPPlY inserting batteries Open the battery compartment and insert 2 AA alkaline batteries (not included) according to the polarity indicators within the battery compartment . Charging rechargeable batteries: Plug an AC adapter (not included) into the CD Player and into an electrical outlet . Insert 2 Nickel Cadmium or 2 Ni-MH rechargeable batteries and set the RECHARGE Switch to on . - Page 12 3 . After 15 hours, unplug the AC adapter and switch the RECHARGE SWITCH to the OFF position . Note: do not charge continuously for 24 hours or more . If there is no activity after another 60 seconds, the set will turn off automatically to save battery power . -
