Setting the Image-Recording Quality

You can select the pixel count and the image quality. There are eight JPEG image-
recording quality settings: 73, 83, 74, 84, 7a, 8a, b, c. There are
three RAW image quality settings: 1, 41, 61 (p.118).
Image-recording Quality Setting Examples
If [-] is set for both RAW and JPEG, 73 will be set.

Select [Image quality].

Select the image-recording quality.

Under the [z1] tab, select [Image
quality], then press <0>.
To select a RAW setting, turn the
<6> dial. To select a JPEG setting,
press the <U> key.
On the upper right of the screen,
"***M (megapixels) **** x ****"
indicates the recorded pixel count,
and [***] is the number of possible
shots (displayed up to 999).
Press <0> to set it.
