The principles goyerning depth of field
1 . T h e d e p t h o f f i e l d i s g r e a t e r a s t h e d i s t a n c e i s
increased or the aperture is stopped down.
2. The depth of field grows less as the distance is
decreased or the aperture is enlarged.

than into the foregrouncl.

b y p u r p o s e l y

background out of focus.
