Digital Projection International (DPI), Texas Instruments' first
DLP™ partner and the original innovator of the 3-chip DLP™ pro-
jector, proudly introduces the newest and most cost effective
entry in our line of home entertainment Reference Displays, the
TITAN Reference 1080p.
Weighing in at just 68 lbs., the dual lamp TITAN Reference
employs the latest in Texas Instruments' Dark Chip 1080p DLP™
technology to deliver up to 6000 ANSI lumens of razor sharp
imagery through an amazingly rich contrast ratio of 5000:1.
Equipped with DP's exceptional ColorMax™ and Xenon Color
Mode calibration systems, this ultimate TITAN Display renders
deeply saturated, color-accurate imagery which is simultane-
ously true to life and powerfully immersive. Compact, robustly
built and ultra-quiet for its performance class, the TITAN
Reference 1080p is an unmatched solution for extravagant
home cinemas, family media rooms, entertaining and workout
spaces, poolside video and even outdoor evening entertain-
ment venues.
Other key benefits of the TITAN Reference 1080p include:
• ColorMax™ calibration capabilities including enhanced
seven-point color correction for broader color space, accu-
rate color alignment and higher color saturation.
• User selectable Xenon-color mode processing, which
enables the projector to closely replicate the spectral per-
formance of a Xenon lamp
• DP's NextGen electronics, featuring class leading de-interlac-
ing with SD and HD sources processed using auto 3:2 and 2:2
extraction
• Six user-selectable inputs, including HDCP compliant DVI
• Dual High Intensity Discharge (HID) lamps, which can be run
individually or simultaneously, provide a typical life of 1500
hours per lamp.
An auto lamp crossover circuit assures
entertainment is never interrupted.
• A wide range of precision, high contrast optics.
lenses include extensive horizontal and vertical lens shift, pro-
viding great flexibility to work around mechanical installation
challenges
• DP's CoolTek™ engineering, which delivers the highest lumen
performance with the lowest power consumption, thermal
output (BTU) and noise level output (dB).
The TITAN Reference 1080p – a precisely engineered, efficient-
ly designed, state-of-the-art imaging tool - bringing the preci-
sion of Digital Projection - to your magnificent home venues.
