Failure to do so could result in possible serious personal injury. ASSEMBLING THE BLOWER TUBES See Figure 2. 1. Screw the nozzle onto the upper blower tube and tighten securely.

    ■ Operate blower at the lowest possible throttle speed to do the job. ■ Check your equipment before operation, especially the muffler, air intakes and air filters. ■ Use rakes and brooms to loosen debris before blowing. ■ In dusty conditions, slightly dampen surfaces when water is available.

  • Page 15 SPARK ARRESTOR The muffler is equipped with a spark arrestor screen inside muffler body. After extended use the screen can become dirty and may need to have the muffler replaced by an authorized servicing dealer. WARNING: To avoid a fire hazard, never run the blower without the spark arrestor in place.
