RULES FOR SAFE OPERATION • For best results, your battery unit should be charged in a location where the temperature is more than 50°F (10°C) but less than 100°F (38°C). Do not store outside or in vehicles. • Under extreme usage or temperature conditions, battery pack leakage may occur. -

If the charger does not charge your battery pack under normal circum- stances, return both the battery pack and charger assembly to your nearest Authorized Homelite Ser- vice Center for electrical check. Page 8 LIGHT (LED) -

TO INSTALL BATTERY PACK • Place the battery pack in the grass shear. Align raised rib on battery pack with groove in grass shear battery port. See Figure 3 . • Make sure the latches on each side of the battery pack snap in place and that battery pack is secured in the grass shear before beginning operation. -
