    If the water heater has been flooded it must be replaced. • Do obtain new warning and instruction labels from A.O. Smith CHEMICAL VAPOR CORROSION for placement on the blanket directly over the existing labels.
  • Page 4 GENERAL The installation must conform to these instructions and the local code authority having jurisdiction. In the absence of local codes, the installation must comply with the latest editions of the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54 and the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70.

  • Page 9 INSTALLATION OF BLOWER NOTE: The 3 inch PVC tee and 3 inch PVC tee may have a snug fit. If so, use a soft mandrel to help tap the 3 inch PVC pipe into tee if necessary. The blower assembly should be removed from the box containing the PVC PIPE and FITTINGS.
