An inner sanctuary,
with an outgoing spirit.
What sets a luxury SUV apart from a luxury sedan is, of course, its adaptability.
The way a GLK balances serene comfort with spontaneous capability makes it
a Mercedes-Benz. It fits you like it's custom-tailored, yet it flexes and stretches
to handle your most vigorous activities in stride. It's impeccably crafted — with
hand-fitted upholstery, broad expanses of hand-polished wood trim, and artful
details rendered in brushed aluminum. It's thoughtfully furnished — with power
front seats, a driver-seat memory, and a team of virtual valets that adapt the
wipers to the rainfall, activate the headlamps in darkness, and scour dust and
pollen from the cabin air. And it's thoroughly accommodating — of your impulsive
side, with split rear seats that fold flat in a single motion — and of your indulgent
side, with such luxurious options as an expansive glass Panorama roof and a
new heated steering wheel. Despite its compact, efficient size, you can get
a lot into a GLK. Because it's a Mercedes-Benz, you'll get even more out of it.
First-class luxury, lasting support.
Whether you're dashing across town, driving
cross-country, or decompressing from a day at
the office, the front seats offer comfort that's
both immediate and long-lasting. The 14-way
power driver seat includes 4-way power lumbar
support, plus a 3-position memory that lets you
store the position of the seat, power steering
column and side mirrors. An 8-way power front
passenger seat is standard, while the Leather
Package upgrades it to match the driver seat,
and bestows both seats with multi-adjustable
luxury head restraints. Heated front seats, as
well as a heated steering wheel, are indulgent
options that will quickly feel like necessities.
Second-row comfort, one-touch folding.
Generous room, a folding center armrest and
large windows help rear-seat passengers enjoy
the GLK's refined ride. For up to 54.7 cu ft of
cargo space, the 60/40-split seatbacks fold
flat in a single motion, with no need to flip the
cushions or remove the head restraints.
The
18
liftgate opens virtually flush with the carpeted
cargo floor for easier loading and unloading, as
a chrome load-sill plate helps protect the rear
bumper. A 12-volt power port, side parcel net
and retractable cargo cover are standard, while
the Premium 1 Package adds a household-type
115-volt AC power outlet and a power liftgate you
can open or close with the SmartKey remote.
Micron filtration, super-sized sunroof.
The dual-zone automatic climate control offers
precisely tailored comfort year-round. It filters
dust and pollen as tiny as 0.0002" from the air.
A sensor that monitors the angle and intensity
of sunlight, along with dual rear-cabin air
vents, help maintain more consistent comfort
throughout the cabin. The optional Panorama
roof lets all five passengers enjoy the sun and
stars under a vast expanse of heat-rejecting
tinted glass. The power front section tilts up or
slides open, with a one-touch express-open/
close feature via the interior switch or from
outside, using the SmartKey remote. A power
internal screen lets you enjoy the shade, too.
Style and substance, inside and out.
Precisely top-stitched upholstery is fitted by
hand to each seat. The standard MB-Tex is
legendary for its lush feel and lasting quality,
or treat yourself to the even richer refinement
of the Leather Package. Sustainably forested
wood trim — both the standard Burl Walnut or
newly available Black Ash — is hand-polished to
a radiant glow. To preserve its grain, the rolltop
wood console cover is laser-cut from a single
sheet. Optional running boards ease your step
with grippy rubber dots, while pleasing the eye
with their brushed aluminum finish. The Sport
and Appearance Packages also add a brushed
aluminum finish to the standard roof rails.
