NOTE: You must run the Setup Wizard before connecting the Adapter.

Inserting the Adapter into Your Notebook

1. Power down your notebook computer.
2. Locate an available CardBus slot on your notebook computer.
3. With the connector pin end facing the CardBus slot and the label facing up, slide the Adapter into the CardBus
slot until it locks into place.
4. Power on your notebook computer. The Power LED should light up when the Adapter is installed correctly.
5. Windows will begin copying the driver files to your computer. If Windows asks you for the original Windows
CD-ROM, insert the CD-ROM, and direct Windows to its correct location (e.g., D:/).
Windows 2000 users: When Windows 2000 begins installing the Adapter's driver, a Digital Signature Not
Found screen may appear, indicating that a digital signature was not found. This driver has been tested and
found to work properly with Windows 2000. Click the Yes button to continue the installation.
