The Getac PS236 Fully Rugged Handheld
The Getac PS236 is the first fully rugged handheld built to meet
MIL-STD 810G with high-speed HSDPA wireless networking*.
The PS236 features a high sensitivity GPS receiver, E-Compass
and altimeter, making it perfect for GIS applications and a built-in
three megapixel auto-focus camera has been neatly integrated to
provide an all-in-one solution.
The PS236 includes 4GB of embedded memory and can be
expanded to a total of 20GB of memory using the external SDHC
card** The PS236 can be customized with either the standard
numeric keypad or a PDA keypad depending on the application
and need. The PS236 is preinstalled with Windows® Mobile 6.1
software for quick access to email, the Internet, texting and other
means of mobile communications.
Weighing a mere 18 ounces, the device can operate at full
capacity for up to 12-hours on a fully-charged battery and is MIL-
STD 810G compliant and IP67 compliant to operate without failure
under the most extreme weather conditions, environments and
everyday abuse associated with its user base.
