8.
Place the handle on the end of the auger and turn clockwise to lock in place.
Note: The wrench is used to tighten or loosen the end cap however, tightening
with your fingers is usually sufficient.
9.
Place the small end of the hopper in the top of the juicer.
10. Place a container under the bottom opening to collect juice and a second
container under the end opening to collect the waste.
11. Use the plunger to push the grass or fruits and vegetables through the juicer.
12. Turn the handle clockwise and feed the wheat grass through the hopper. Be
careful not to pinch your fingers. As the machine fills and the juice flows, open
and adjust the control screw so that the pressed waste is ejected after the juice
has been extracted. Note: The screen can be used when juicing wheat grass
or leafy greens but is not necessary. It is included so that you can juice fruits
and vegetables more efficiently.
13. After each use, disassemble the juicer, wash all parts in warm, soapy water,
rinse and dry thoroughly.

The Wheat Grass Juicer can also squeeze juices from most vegetables and fruits
including leafy greens, sprouts, squash, cucumbers, celery, pineapple, carrots,
beets, apples, watermelon, etc. For best results, cut firm fruits and vegetables into
small, bite-sized pieces and use the plunger to push food into the juicer. The waste
pulp may be re-strained to retrieve more of the juice.
Measure the wheat grass in "rounds," like spaghetti. A one-inch
round of wheat grass, will yield about one ounce of juice. Because
wheat grass spoils quickly, juice all other ingredients first, to ensure
you are getting the freshest drink possible.
Wheat grass will give the best yield when freshly cut and within a few hours after
watering. Pre-cut, store bought grass has begun to dry resulting in a lower yield of
juice. The grass should be a dark green color.
