24 Quick Start Guide
To synchronize your phone with a Windows XP PC
1.
Insert the Getting Started Disc into the disc drive on your PC.
2.
Follow the on-screen instructions to install ActiveSync.
3.
After installation is completed, connect the phone to your PC.
4.
The Synchronization Setup Wizard automatically starts and guides you to create a
synchronization relationship. Click Next to proceed.
5.
To synchronize your phone with your computer, clear the Synchronize directly
with a server running Microsoft Exchange Server check box then click Next.
6.
Select the information types that you want to synchronize and then click Next.
7.
Click Finish.
To synchronize your phone with a Windows Vista PC
1.
Connect your phone to your PC. Windows Mobile Device Center configures itself and
then opens.
2.
On the license agreement screen, click Accept.
3.
On the Windows Mobile Device Center Home screen, click Set up your device.
4.
Select the information types that you want to synchronize then click Next.
5.
Enter a phone name for your phone and click Set Up.
