THE MOORINGS
Built by Robertson & Caine to Moorings Specifi cations
Designed in collaboration between The Moorings Sailing
holidays, architects Simonis-Voogd and catamaran builder
Robertson and Caine, the Moorings 4800 follows in the
footsteps of the popular Moorings 4600, the best-selling
Moorings model to-date. What sets the Moorings 4800
apart is, not only its space, but the introduction of a large
forward cockpit accessible from the saloon; the fi rst ever
on a Moorings yacht. This forward cockpit previously
made its debut on the award-winning Leopard 44 (Boat
of the Year 2012) and adds additional relaxation space to
an already comfortable and spacious yacht.
The Moorings 4800 features a raised helm station offering
excellent visibility and ease of manoeuvres, and here all
sheets and halyards lead in to. Below, the aft cockpit
features a cockpit table with wrap-around seating and
stools. Inside a fully fi tted modern galley and U-shaped
settee in saloon provide ample space for entertaining and
360 degree views allowing plenty of natural light. Down
below are four air-conditioned private staterooms with
en suite heads and showers, plus a separate forepeak
berth with head to starboard and a single forepeak berth
to port.
