IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

- This product is designed for household use only -
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following:
1.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2.
To protect against fire, electrical shock and personal injury, do not immerse this
appliance, including cord and plug, in water or other liquid.
3.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
4.
Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and
before cleaning.
5. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. To avoid hazards, return
appliance to NESCO
adjustment.
6. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may
result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
7. Do not use outdoors.
8. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
9. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
10. Do not use appliance for other than its intended use, as described in this manual.
11. Avoid contacting moving parts
12. Check hopper for presence of foreign objects before using.
13. Never remove the lid until the appliance has stopped grinding.
14. Do not attempt to operate appliance without the lid in place
15. Never chop ice or use the grinder other than as described in the instructions.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Polarized Plug: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other). To reduce risk of electric shock, plug is intended to fit into polarized outlet
only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not try to modify the plug in any way.
Short Cord Instructions: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk
resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Extension
cords may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is used, the
marked electrical rating of the cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating
of the appliance. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the
tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
