  • Page 2 Smart Card Reader Introduction: The NSR-2000U smart card reader is a reliable and cost-effective, which is designed for variety of smart card applications on PC or Notebook. It is compliant with ISO 7816, PC/SC, and Microsoft Plug and Play specifications. This small and portable smart card reader allows you to carry it everywhere and makes connections simple and easy.

    1. Driver installation consists of two types of processes, including automatic or manual. 2. For automatic driver installation, please go to http://www.nst.com.tw. Press “English” button. Select “service”. Choose “SmartCard Reader Driver— wins 2000, XP” or “SmartCard Reader Driver— wins 98, ME”. Start downloading driver software.
  • Page 4 1. Power on your computer. If the computer has detected NST reader devices, please press “Cancel” button first. 2. Install (scbase.exe & smclib.exe)¡Athen reboot. 3. After computer detects NST reader devices, please select a proper driver file in the floppy disk. Relative file location USB interface A:\NSR2000U\NSR2KUSB.INF (NSR2KUSB.sys)
