Assembly
This fan is supplied with a surround based that must be fitted to the fan BEFORE the fan is
used. The surround base is supplied with a small bag of two screws, which must be used to
secure the base in place:
Position the surround base above the bottom of the motor housing assembly and line up with
the Locking Lug and push down until locked into place.
Screw the two screws into the holes in the middle of the base for extra support. DO NOT over
tighten the screws.
To remove the base for cleaning purposes, remove retaining screws and unclip the surround
base.
DO NOT operate the fan with the base surround removed.
