Mobile, convenient and easy to connect

With the Cinergy A USB XS, you can use your computer as a TV. Only a few a minutes of
preparation are needed until you see your first picture with the usual TV quality and stereo
sound. Just plug the Cinergy A USB XS into an available USB 2.0 port of your computer or
laptop, connect the analog TV cable (for cable TV or house antenna) and install the provided
Software. You can now take advantage of all the benefits of a state-of-the-art TV card, such as
perfect picture quality, time shifting TV programs, digital video recorder and teletext.
One revolutionary example is called time shifting, which allows you to pause the program at any
point and continue watching it later. Just press the corresponding button if the phone rings or if
you feel like taking a break. From that point on, the program is stored on your hard drive until you
resume watching.
The perfect solution for all series fans is the built-in digital video recorder. Program a recording or
simply press record while the program is underway—the program is saved to your hard drive in
DVD format (MPEG 2). Now you can edit out the commercials from your recording and burn the
final product to DVD.
But the ArcSoft TotalMedia 2 software included in the package has even more capabilities: as
you would expect of a full-fledged media center, you can listen to music, play videos and DVDs,
or browse through your picture collection and create a slide show. The remote control provides
the familiar comfort of your TV room.
