Call functions
• Mute key tone/Unmute key tone: turn
the key tones off or on.
To communicate with answering machines or
computerised telephone systems, Unmute
key tone must be selected.
• New call: make a new voice call.
• Contacts: locate or store contacts in
Contacts.
• Send text message: create and send a
new SMS message.
• Send DTMF: send DTMF (Dual tone multi-
frequency) tones as a group. The DTMF
tones are the tones used in phones for tone
dialling, sounding when you press the
number keys. This option is helpful for
entering a password or an account number
when you call an automated system, like a
banking service.
• Memo: create a memo.

• End call/End calls: disconnect the call
currently on hold, active call, or all calls.
• Save to Contacts: save the entered
number to Contacts.
• Save to memo: save the entered number
as a memo.
Using the video call feature
In a 3G (UMTS) service area, your phone can
make or receive a video call, allowing you to
see another person on the screen during a
conversation. The other person's phone must
support the video call feature.
Making a video call
1. In Idle mode, enter the area code and phone
number.
