LAN configuration

You can use the LAN configuration to define an
dsl and configure the DHCP server.

Select Advanced Settings – Local Network.
Defining the private IP address for the Gigaset SE555 WLAN dsl
On this screen you can change the device's
192.168.2.1. This is the
address under which the device can be reached in the local network. It can be freely
assigned from the block of available addresses. The IP address under which the Gigaset
SE555 WLAN dsl can be reached from outside is assigned by the Internet service
provider.

If you want to assign a different IP address to the Gigaset SE555 WLAN dsl, enter it
in the fields next to IP address.

Adjust the Subnet mask if necessary.
We recommend that you use an address from a block that is reserved for private use.
This address block is 192.168.1.1–192.168.255.254.
Note:
New settings can only be made after the Gigaset SE555 WLAN dsl has been
rebooted. If necessary, reconfigure the IP address on your PC (including one that
is statically assigned) so that it matches the new configuration.
