Set up to send SMS or Email messages
You can write and send text messages to other similarly equipped PCS
phones or to internet Email addresses. First the network's SMS message
center number and Email gateway address (obtainable from your network
provider) must be stored in the phone.
Press Menu

Select Settings.

Select Message center.

If empty, enter the number and press OK
If a number already appears, your SIM supplied the number.
Press OK
Select Gateway address.

If an address (usually a telephone number) appears, press
OK
Press Back

If your SIM cannot store Message Templates (see Message templates, page
42), then the Settings menu will also contain the 4 options listed below.
Default settings are in place unless you change them.
The phone is now ready to send SMS or Email messages.

Enter the message text and press OK
