The selector dial can be turned either clockwise or
anticlockwise.
Position E corresponds to the ENERGY SAVING
programme and position COLD to "cold wash".
At the end of the programme the selector dial
must be turned to position OFF.

Functions

Pilot lights
Depending on the programme, different functions
can be combined.
When the relevant buttons are pressed, the
corresponding pilot lights come on.
When they are pressed again, the pilot lights go out.
If an incorrect option is selected, the pilot light
flashes for about 2 seconds.
End of programme
When the door locked light has gone out, the door
can be opened. The END light on the programme
progress display illuminates.
Turn the programme selector dial to OFF and
remove the laundry.
Altering a programme
You can alter the programme before it starts.
When the programme has started, after depressing
the START/PAUSE button, you can only reset it by
turning the programme selector dial to OFF and then
you can select the new programme.
Start it by depressing the START/PAUSE button.
Interrupting a programme
Depress the START/PAUSE button to interrupt a
programme which is running, the corresponding light
starts to flash.
Cancelling a programme
Turn the selector dial to OFF to cancel a programme
which is running. Now you can select a new
programme.
Opening the door after the programme
has started
First set the machine to PAUSE by pressing the
START/PAUSE button.
The door can be opened when the door locked light
has gone out.
If the door does not open, this means that the
machine is already heating, that the water level is
above the bottom edge of the door or that the drum
is turning.
If you cannot open the door but you need to open it
you have to switch the machine off by turning the
selector dial to OFF. After about 3 minutes the door
can be opened (pay attention to the water
temperature and level!).

Programme information

Washing programme for machine washable wool as
well as for hand washable woollens and delicate
fabrics with the "hand washing" care symbol.
Select this programme for heavily soiled laundry.
Pour the detergent into the compartment
This programme is not suitable for wool.
The machine performs a soak at 30°C and stops with
the water in the drum. The water can be emptied out
in 2 ways:
• Draining only by depressing the START/PAUSE
button.
• Draining and spin: turn the programme selector
dial to OFF, select programme "SPIN", reduce
eventually the spin speed by means of SPIN
SPEED button and depress START/PAUSE
button.
Important!
• If the water is not emptied out within 18 hours, the
machine empties automatically.
• At the end of the soak (after having emptied out
the water) you can select the washing programme.
Turn first the programme selector dial to OFF, then
select the programme and depress the
START/PAUSE button.
