3 Getting to Know Your Data Card
Indicator
Status indicator of the Data Card displays green or blue light.
Green light
When the Data Card is inserted into the PCMCIA slot of your laptop, the
green indicator lights.
When the Data Card is searching for the network, the green indicator lights.
When the Data Card registers to 3G network, the green indicator lights.
When the Data Card works for any ongoing data transmission in the network
mode of 3G (HSDPA / WCDMA), green indicator blinks.
indicator is on for 100 ms and off for 100 ms.
Blue light
When the Data Card registers to GSM network, the blue indicator lights.
When the Data Card works for any ongoing data transmission in the network
mode of 2G (GPRS/EDGE), the blue indicator blinks.
