Lock setup
Asymbot "C_" will be displayedforeachsub-rating.
While "_'' is selected, press ENTER button to go toasub
rating. To select a different Rating, press ,A./ Y buttons
and then repeat the process.
Note
The V-chip will automatically block certain categories
that are "More restrictive" .For exampte, ifyou block
"_" sub-rating inTV-PG, then the "_" sub-ratings in
TV-14 and TV-MAwill automatically be blocked.
MPAARating
Blocks movies according to the movieratings limits
specified, so children cannot view certain movies. You
can set theratings limit bybtocking out altthe movies with
the ratings above a specified level. Keep in mind thatthe
movie ratings limitonly applies to movies shown onTV,
not TVprograms, such assoap operas.
1. PressA/Y button to select MPAARating item.
2. Press_-or ENTER button and then use A/Ybutton to
select the rating.
3. Press ENTER button to set block or unblock.
