    RS-232 or TTL and saves critical satellite data by built–in backup memory. With low power consumption, the GPS-6012 tracks up to 12 satellites at a time, re-acquires satellite signals in 100 ms and updates position data every second. The following sleeping mode will save power consumption dramatically to allow critical low power applications.

    2. Operational characteristics 2.1 Initialization As soon as the initial self-test is complete, the GPS-6012 begins the process of satellite acquisition and tracking automatically. Under normal circumstances, it takes approximately 90 seconds to achieve a position fix at the first time, 45 seconds if ephemeris data is known. After a position fix has been calculated, information about valid position, velocity and time is transmitted over the output channel.

Simply fasten 3 screws (3 screws for metal and 3 for wood are Enclosed) through the holes of the bracket when using it as a GPS holder.

    5. Warranty The GPS-6012 is warranted to be free from defects in material and functions for one year from the date of purchase. Any failure of this product within this period under normal conditions will be replaced at no charge to the customers.
