    INTRODUCTION The SummitPro stand-alone DVD/CD Disc Duplicator, featuring 24X DVD SATA drives. The system will copy 1 through11 (depending on the number of targets on your duplicator) discs at a time at maximum speeds of 48x on CD’s and 24x on DVD’s.

    Menu Overview Below is a quick reference chart of the functions available on the SummitPro DVD Duplicators. Copies the master CD/DVD. All contents of the master disc will be duplicated on COPY to all target disc(s) simultaneously. Simulates the copy process, but no data is recorded onto the blank disc(s).

    QUICK START GUIDE Step 1: Plug in power cord to back of the unit. Step 2: Turn on power button and wait for LCD to read “Copy”. Step 3: Eject reader tray (top drive) and insert source disc. Close reader tray. Step 4: Eject writer trays and insert the blank discs.

    OPERATING GUIDE Operation Guide 1. COPY This operation will guide you to copy your Master Disc to a Blank CD/DVD disc. ①. Turn on the duplicator. ②. Eject Drive tray of the Top Drive and place the Master disc in the tray and Close the drive tray. ③.

    2. TEST ①. This function simulates the copying process. The process is the same as COPY but it won’t write anything on the recordable discs. ②. , Press to navigate the function menu to 2. TEST and press to execute it. 2.

    3. COPY & VERIFY This option will make a copy first and then verify copied discs immediately for ensuring disc readability. ①. Before starting this process, please make sure that the Master Disc and blank disc are placed in , the correct drives.

    4. COPY & COMPARE This function will perform the copy process, and immediately follows with a comparison between the master disc and the copied disc(s) to ensure the copies are exact duplicates of the master disc. This command is especially useful for DVDs, data CDs and video CDs. ①.

    5. VERIFY This function will perform the copy process, and immediately follow with the verification process on all target discs. This command is especially useful for audio CD duplication. Note: The verification process uses a Disc Readability Check to individually check the presence of data on each copy.

    6. COMPARE This command compares copied disc(s) to the Master disc and ensures that the copies are exact duplicates of the master disc. This command is especially useful for DVDs, data CDs and video CDs. Note: The Compare process is a bit-by-bit comparison between the master disc and the copied discs. This operation ensures that all of the copies are completely identical to the Master disc.

    10.3 Full Erase This operation will completely erase all data of re-writable discs in the Writer Trays. It takes longer time than Quick Erase.     10.9 Copy Counter This operation will record duplication results, duplicated quantity, and total amount of successful and unsuccessful CD/DVD duplicated. 10.9.1 Show Count , Under 10.9 Copy Counter sub-catalog, press to select 1.     11. SETUP This function group provides features which allow changing of manufacturer’s default settings. 11.1 Auto Start Time When the duplicator detects that master and blank discs are inserted at the same time, the system will execute the copy process automatically. The system default of auto-copy is 5 seconds after detected master and blank discs.

  • Page 34 12.8 ABOUT HDD MANAGER Our duplicator has a highly intelligent and dynamic HDD management technology. Traditional methods of formatting a HDD, in which the number of partitions is determined by dividing your Hard Drive‘s total capacity by 5GB for DVD or 1GB for CD. In this way, you have to decide how many partitions for DVD or CD before you start format your Hard Drive.
  • Page 35 13. Troubleshooting Guide There are no end-user serviceable components that can be replaced in the CD/DVD Duplicator. Please contact Summation Technology for warranty repairs and service. No LCD display. Please check if the power cord is connected properly and the utility power is supplied.
